Emohruo B&B is the perfect base for discovering Doolin, the riches of Clare and the West Coast of Ireland!
Doolin County Clare has been described as a national shrine to Irish traditional music and a paradise for geologists, botanists, ornithologists, speleologists and walkers.
Just 3kms south of Doolin are the majestic Cliffs of Moher, battling daily with the Atlantic ocean. They rise in places to over 200 mtrs. The new visitor centre "The Atlantic Edge" is open all year round. Our house is ideally located on the way to the Cliffs.
Doolin is on the fringe of the world famous Burren, a remarkable limestone area which has a combination of many visual features that make it unique in Europe. Its geology, flora, caves, archaeology and history set it apart as a place of mystery and beauty - an explorer's dream.
Our restaurants offer fine foods with local seafood a speciality. Our world-famous pubs feature traditional music sessions nightly. Craft shops offer a range of locally produced hand-crafted products. Music shops have a wide range of items to suit all tastes.
Local activities include golf, pitch & putt, fishing, caving, walking, cycling, horseriding, surfing, scuba diving, canoeing, bird watching and boat trips to the Aran Islands.
Our guest rooms are tastefully decorated, en-suite and non smoking with modern facilities and central heating with views onto the Atlantic and the surrounding countryside. You may expct warm hospitality and all the comfort you're looking for while enjoying your stay in our area.
Hoping to make your stay a memorable one.. John & Margaret Carey
